Decay mode

In physics, the decay mode of a radioactive isotope describes the way it disappears (turns into something else).

Decay modes include

Emission of an alpha particle or a beta particle
Capture of an electron or neutrino[?]
Spontaneous fission[?]
Emission of bremsstrahlung, X-Rays or conversion electrons[?]
Emission of protons, neutrons, or light elements (for example, ¹⁴C)
Beta-delayed[?] emission of particles
