DeVry University is a system[1] (http://www.devry.edu/campuses) of Technical and Business schools in the United States and Canada.

History of DeVry

  • 1931, First school opened by Lee DeForest as DeForest Training School in Chicago.
  • 1953, Renamed as DeVry Technical Institute.
  • 1966, Acquired by Bell & Howell.
  • 1968, Renamed as DeVry Institute of Technology.
  • 1987, Merged with Keller Graduate School of Management.
  • 2002, Combined schools renamed as DeVry University.
