DESY

DESY Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron or "German Electron Synchrotron" is a major European center for basic physics research. Its two main locations are Hamburg and Zeuthen[?]. Most of the research involves particle physics and synchrotron radiation. Financing comes mainly from the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research.
