David Cassidy

David Cassidy (born on April 12, 1950, son of late actor Jack Cassidy) is an actor who starred in the television series The Partridge Family from 1970-1974. When he first started the series nobody knew that he could sing until Cassidy himself brought it up. He then became a teen idol. He played son to Shirley Jones, who in real life was his stepmother.

There were nine Partridge Family albums and some David Cassidy solo albums. David was not happy playing the character Keith Partridge[?] so he decided to quit the series. He toured and then starred in a prime time cop show called David Cassidy: Man Under Cover. Unfortunately, the show was not a hit and was cancelled.

There are a few songs from The Partridge Family that he redid. There is a tour date which can be found on the David Cassidy website.
