Davenport is a city located in Cass County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 261.

Geography Davenport is located at 46°42'51" North, 97°4'4" West (46.714074, -97.067749)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 261 people, 91 households, and 77 families residing in the city. The population density is 839.8/km² (2,091.2/mi²). There are 92 housing units at an average density of 296.0/km² (737.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 98.47% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 1.53% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.53% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 91 households out of which 49.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.4% are married couples living together, 5.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 14.3% are non-families. 11.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.87 and the average family size is 3.10.

In the city the population is spread out with 34.1% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 36.0% from 25 to 44, 14.6% from 45 to 64, and 7.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 30 years. For every 100 females there are 93.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 97.7 males.
