Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 88.8 km² (34.3 mi²). 78.2 km² (30.2 mi²) of it is land and 10.5 km² (4.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 11.88% water.
Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 1,361 people, 464 households, and 382 families residing in the township. The population density is 17.4/km² (45.1/mi²). There are 558 housing units at an average density of 7.1/km² (18.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.87% White, 0.00% African American, 0.07% Native American, 1.32% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.37% from other races, and 0.37% from two or more races. 0.51% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
