Dark River is an unorganized territory located in St. Louis County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the unorganized territory had a total population of 68.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the unorganized territory has a total area of 98.4 km² (38.0 mi²). 98.3 km² (37.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.11% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 68 people, 22 households, and 21 families residing in the unorganized territory. The population density is 0.7/km² (1.8/mi²). There are 39 housing units at an average density of 0.4/km² (1.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the unorganized territory is 92.65% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.47% from other races, and 5.88% from two or more races. 13.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
