American actor,
film director, and
producer from

New Jersey.[?]
DeVito is best known for his portrayal of "Louie De Palma" on the popular American television series, Taxi.
In 1999, Devito produced and costarred in Man On The Moon, a film about the unusual life of his former Taxi costar, Andy Kaufman.
DeVito is married to actress Rhea Perlman[?]. The couple met and were married while they were both working on the Taxi series.
