Dan Ranfurly

Dan, The Earl of Ranfurly, during World War II, was a 2nd Lieutenant in the British Army's 7th Armoured Division. His wife travelled with him to the Middle East; as did his valet, Whitaker. His wife wrote, "The Germans are bombing London and other cities...night after night. It takes courage to even read the news."
