Dallas is a plantation located in Franklin County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the plantation had a total population of 250.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the plantation has a total area of 104.7 km² (40.4 mi²). 101.1 km² (39.0 mi²) of it is land and 3.6 km² (1.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.46% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 250 people, 110 households, and 77 families residing in the plantation. The population density is 2.5/km² (6.4/mi²). There are 371 housing units at an average density of 3.7/km² (9.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the plantation is 98.40% White, 0.00% African American, 1.60% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 110 households out of which 26.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.8% are married couples living together, 3.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.1% are non-families. 20.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.27 and the average family size is 2.53.

In the plantation the population is spread out with 18.8% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 31.6% from 45 to 64, and 14.4% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 98.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 105.1 males.

The median income for a household in the plantation is $36,875, and the median income for a family is $39,000. Males have a median income of $25,000 versus $17,813 for females.
