Dag Hammarskjöld

The Swedish diplomat Dag Hammarskjöld (1905-1961) was the Secretary-General of the United Nations from April 1953 until his death in a plane crash in suspicious circumstances in the Congo in September 1961. Rumors said that he was a homosexual.
