Cyr is a plantation located in Aroostook County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the plantation had a total population of 117.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the plantation has a total area of 99.5 km² (38.4 mi²). 99.5 km² (38.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 117 people, 42 households, and 33 families residing in the plantation. The population density is 1.2/km² (3.0/mi²). There are 51 housing units at an average density of 0.5/km² (1.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the plantation is 94.02% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 5.98% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 42 households out of which 45.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.4% are married couples living together, 2.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 21.4% are non-families. 16.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.79 and the average family size is 3.15.

In the plantation the population is spread out with 30.8% under the age of 18, 4.3% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 24.8% from 45 to 64, and 10.3% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 88.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 107.7 males.
