Cup

A cup is a drinking vessel.


A cup is also a cup-shaped prize, e.g Davis Cup, League Cup.


A cup is a unit of measuring volume used primarily in cooking.

1 U.S. customary cup = 0.5 U.S. pints, or 8 U.S. fl. oz. (fluid ounces[?])

1 metric cup = 250 ml (as defined in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and UK)
