Cuniculture

Cuniculture is the agricultural practice of breeding[?] and raising rabbits.

Rabbits have an extremely high capacity of reproduction. They can produce between 3 and 18 babies every 3 months. This amazing prolificity is due to the fact the female can ovulate when the male bites her back during coitus.

Females rabbits go through certain episodes called "estrus" or "heat" in each breeding season; it may be noticed thanks to the colouring of its vulva, which changes from pink to red.
