Crop

A crop is any plant that is grown in significant quantities to be harvested as food, livestock fodder[?], or for another economic purpose.


The crop is a thin-walled expanded portion of the alimentary tract used for the storage of food prior to digestion. Crops are found in many animals, including earthworms, insects, and birds.
