Creswell Crags

Creswell Crags is a limestone gorge on the Nottinghamshire-Derbyshire border, in the Midlands of England. The cliffs of the valley contain several caves that were occupied by paleolithic man during the last ice age.

In 2003, cave paintings were found in some of the caves - the only known examples of such cave art in Britain.
