Cove Neck is a village located in Nassau County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 300.

Geography Cove Neck is located at 40°52'40" North, 73°29'50" West (40.877655, -73.497176)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²). 3.3 km² (1.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 18.47% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 300 people, 110 households, and 83 families residing in the village. The population density is 89.8/km² (233.4/mi²). There are 140 housing units at an average density of 41.9/km² (108.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 94.67% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 4.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.33% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 4.33% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 110 households out of which 30.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.4% are married couples living together, 7.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 24.5% are non-families. 19.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.73 and the average family size is 3.16.

In the village the population is spread out with 26.3% under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 20.3% from 25 to 44, 29.3% from 45 to 64, and 19.3% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 44 years. For every 100 females there are 96.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 87.3 males.

The median income for a household in the village is $159,792, and the median income for a family is $177,805. Males have a median income of $100,000 versus $47,188 for females. The per capita income for the village is $110,139. 0.0% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line.
