Corona del Mar, California

Corona del Mar (Spanish, "crown of the sea") is an area of Newport Beach, California, comprising the 92625 ZIP Code but generally considered as meaning all land on the seaward face of the San Joquin Hills east of Avocado Street to the city limits. An upscale community settled early in the 20th century, Corona del Mar consists mostly of free-standing detached single family houses of varying architecture, with businesses such as restaurants, galleries, and boutiques concentrated along State Road 1.

Corona del Mar has no locally administered municipal government, but receives all municipal level services from the City of Newport Beach, and is represented before the Newport Beach City Council.
