Cornbread

Cornbread is a variety of quick bread (a bread leavened chemically, rather than by yeast) containing cornmeal. A traditional staple of American country cuisine, a typical contemporary cornbread recipe contains half wheat flour, half cornmeal, milk, eggs, leavener and salt.
