The Concertgebouw is considered one of the three finest concert halls in the world, along with Boston's Symphony Hall and Vienna's concert hall (check name)
History A Dutch Richard Wagner society decided to build the Concertgebouw as a place to hold their concerts. The hall opened on April 11, 1888, with an excerpt from Wagner's Tannhauser being given at the first concert.
