CORINE

CORINE (Coordination of Information on the Environment) is an ecological commission of the European Communities located in Brussels, Belgium. Its main goals are to coordinate information and action within the EU. To define and protect biotopes, to combat air pollution, and to preserve the ecology of the Mediterranean region.
