Club Deportivo Leganes

Club Deportivo Leganés are a Spanish football team from Leganés[?] near Madrid. Founded on June 26, 1928, they currently play in the Segunda División.

They play in white with blue stripes and white shorts. Home stadium is the Butarque that seats 8,000 spectators.

The club has traditionally played in the lower leagues, however, since 1987, when they were promoted from the Segunda B, they have not since been relegated. In 1990 the team gained promotion to the Segunda division.
