Club Deportivo Badajoz

Club Deportivo Badajoz are a Spanish football team from Badajoz in Extremadura. Founded in August 1905, they currently play in the Segunda División.

They play in black and white striped shirts and white shorts. Home stadium is the Vivero Nuevo that seats 15,000 spectators.

Formed from the merger of two clubs, named Racing and Sport, the club became a serious member of the Spanish leagues in 1931, when Don Francisco Fernandes Marquesta donated the team their first ground, named El Vivero. Subsequently playing most of their history between the Tercera and two Segunda divisions, the club has more recently had a consistent residence in the Segunda A.
