Cleveland is a town located in Emery County, Utah. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 508.

Geography Cleveland is located at 39°20'53" North, 110°51'19" West (39.347921, -110.855178)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.3 km² (0.9 mi²). 2.3 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 508 people, 164 households, and 139 families residing in the town. The population density is 220.4/km² (568.2/mi²). There are 173 housing units at an average density of 75.1/km² (193.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.24% White, 0.00% African American, 0.20% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.20% from other races, and 2.36% from two or more races. 0.59% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 164 households out of which 48.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.2% are married couples living together, 6.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 15.2% are non-families. 15.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.10 and the average family size is 3.44.

In the town the population is spread out with 33.9% under the age of 18, 10.8% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 20.3% from 45 to 64, and 10.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 30 years. For every 100 females there are 92.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 95.3 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $33,500, and the median income for a family is $43,000. Males have a median income of $33,750 versus $14,286 for females. The per capita income for the town is $11,774. 8.1% of the population and 6.3% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 8.5% are under the age of 18 and 10.4% are 65 or older.
