Church Stretton

Church Stretton is a town in south west Shropshire, England.

Its population is c.5000; major industries are tourism chemicals and water bottling[?].

It is part of South Shropshire District Council and Shropshire county council[?] and of the parliamentary constituency of Ludlow.

Despite the surrounding area being very rural, farming is of little econonomic importance and is mainly subsitance[?] instead of commercial farming[?].

Places of interest include: the Lond Myndd[?] massif, caer caradog[?] and the lawley[?].

The town is nicknamed "little switzerland" because of the surrounding geography.
