Christine Snyder

Christine Snyder (???? - September 11, 2001), arborist. She lived in Kailua, Hawaii and worked for Outdoor Circle, an environmental organization, as their arborist[?] and project manager. In June of 2001 she married her husband, Ian Pescaia, whom she had met in her senior year of high school.

Snyder died at 32 in the crash of United Airlines flight 93 in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack. She was returning from an urban forestry conference in Washington, D.C. Christine and the C.E.O. of Outdoor Circle, Mary Steiner, had stopped over in New York for some relaxation before returning to Hawaii. Steiner took a different flight from New York.

She is survived by her husband, Ian Pescaia.
