Christa Behmenburg

Christa Behmenburg is a librarian at the Technical University of Munich[?], with a large collection of rodent memorabilia.

As her job requires her to work with computers more than actual books now, she has an affinity for computer mice[?], as well as actual mice and rats[?]. She privately works on a collection of rats and mice in culture and history.

Her collection includes 13000 postcards, 1500 books, 5000 figures, and 1000 pieces of art. This collection has been exhibited in Berlin and Hamelin[?] in 2000 and 2002.

She is currently organizing a mail art show of postcard sized artwork strictly of the computer mouse. The show will include cartoons, caricatures, photographs, paintings, collages, etc. She has invited world-wide participation for this exhibit, to be shown in Berlin in 2005.
