Cho Chang

Cho Chang is a fictional character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series of children's books. She is a year above Harry, in the Ravenclaw house, and is very pretty and popular. Her name has made some readers make varied assumptions about her ethnicity.

Warning: Wikipedia contains spoilers.

Cho is the Seeker for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. She also dated Cedric Diggory until Cedric's death during the events of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Harry Potter had a crush on Cho, (visibly) starting in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and (seemingly) terminating during the events of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. In his fourth year, Harry asks Cho to go with him to the Yule Ball, but she declined as she had already accepted Cedric's proposition. During Harry's fifth year, they went on a date of sorts in the Wizard's village of Hogsmeade[?], but Cho's jealousy of Harry's relationship with Hermione Granger and his inability to properly express that relationship soured the experience. After the death of Sirius Black, Harry comments that his feelings for Cho have mellowed, perhaps because of his changed worldview. At the end of the fifth book, Ginny Weasley reveals that Cho is dating Ginny's ex-boyfriend, Michael Corner.
