Chinatown, Manhattan

Like other Chinatown districts in American cities, the Chinatown neighborhood of Manhattan is an ethnic enclave with a large population of Chinese immigrants.

Manhattan's Chinatown does not have well-defined borders, but generally describes a wide stripe of land stretching horizontally across lower Manhattan, roughly in the vicinity of Canal Street, from the Holland Tunnel (in the west) to the Manhattan Bridge (in the east).
