Cherry Valley is a borough located in Butler County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 72.

Geography Cherry Valley is located at 41°9'26" North, 79°47'53" West (41.157204, -79.798127)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 7.4 km² (2.9 mi²). 7.4 km² (2.9 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 72 people, 27 households, and 18 families residing in the borough. The population density is 9.7/km² (25.1/mi²). There are 31 housing units at an average density of 4.2/km² (10.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 27 households out of which 18.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.7% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 33.3% are non-families. 22.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.67 and the average family size is 3.22.

In the borough the population is spread out with 22.2% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 33.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 43 years. For every 100 females there are 132.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 124.0 males.
