Chaparral

Chaparral is a biome found in areas across the world, notably the California foothills, much of the Italian peninsula, Spain and the shores of the Mediterranean. Summers in the chaparral are arid; whilst winters are cool and damp. Dense thickets of evergreen shrubs and small trees make up the plant life. Typical animal life includes --need examples here
