Chalcedonian

The Chalcedonian churches are those Christian churches who follow the Christological teachings of the Council of Chalcedon, in contradistinction to Nestorians, Monophysites and Monothelites. The latter are sometimes referred to collectively as non-Chalcedonian.

The Chalcedonian churches include the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches.
