Caswell Beach is a town located in Brunswick County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 370.

Geography Caswell Beach is located at 33°54'13" North, 78°3'38" West (33.903609, -78.060637)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 10.7 km² (4.2 mi²). 8.0 km² (3.1 mi²) of it is land and 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 26.02% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 370 people, 187 households, and 138 families residing in the town. The population density is 46.5/km² (120.7/mi²). There are 571 housing units at an average density of 71.8/km² (186.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.38% White, 0.54% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.54% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.54% from two or more races. 0.81% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 187 households out of which 9.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.5% are married couples living together, 4.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.7% are non-families. 21.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.97 and the average family size is 2.25.

In the town the population is spread out with 7.8% under the age of 18, 1.6% from 18 to 24, 11.4% from 25 to 44, 43.5% from 45 to 64, and 35.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 60 years. For every 100 females there are 89.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 86.3 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $57,083, and the median income for a family is $63,750. Males have a median income of $49,063 versus $35,625 for females. The per capita income for the town is $41,731. 0.0% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line.
