Carl Fredrik Hill

Carl Fredrik Hill was born on may 31th of 1849. He had three sisters and was very shy.

He painted mostly landscapes. He suffered from some kind of mental disorder and ended up at a mental hospital. You can see his despair and the darkness in his life in the paintings painted around the time he first got sick. Like the painting with thte graveyard or "stegrande häst i soluppgång".
