Caribbean Community and Common Market

The Caribbean Community and Common Market (Caricom) was organized "To provide dynamic leadership and service, in partnership with Community institutions and Groups, toward the attainment of a viable, internationally competitive and sustainable Community, with improved quality of life for all."

The Republic of Haiti has satisfied all the terms and conditions required by the Conference of Heads of Government for membership of the Caribbean Community, except the deposit with the Secretary-General of an appropriate instrument of accession. When this formality has been completed, Haiti will become a full member of the Community.
