The Cardigans

Redirected from Cardigans

The Cardigans are a Swedish indie-pop[?] band that rose to fame with the success of the 1996 single "Love Me". The lead singer has a wispy, baby-doll voice.

In 1997 The Cardigans toured as the opening act for Beck.

Although later albums with a darker tone have not enjoyed the same success in the United States, the Cardigans have continued to develop musically and have a strong European following.
