The Cappadocian Fathers are the 4th century church fathers Basil the Great, Gregory Nazianzen, and Basil's brother Gregory of Nyssa, who made big contributions to the definition of the Trinity finalized in the Council of Constantinoples[?] 380 and the Nicene Creed.
