Campbellton is a town located in Jackson County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 212.

Geography Campbellton is located at 30°56'55" North, 85°23'47" West (30.948587, -85.396472)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.3 km² (0.9 mi²). 2.3 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is land and 1.11% is water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 212 people, 90 households, and 65 families residing in the town. The population density is 92.0/km² (238.3/mi²). There are 111 housing units at an average density of 48.2/km² (124.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 39.62% White, 59.91% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.47% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.47% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 90 households out of which 27.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.9% are married couples living together, 22.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.7% are non-families. 26.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.36 and the average family size is 2.83.

In the town the population is spread out with 23.6% under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 28.3% from 45 to 64, and 17.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 41 years. For every 100 females there are 96.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 80.0 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $22,212, and the median income for a family is $26,875. Males have a median income of $31,250 versus $19,792 for females. The per capita income for the town is $12,139. 16.6% of the population and 20.0% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 16.9% are under the age of 18 and 17.1% are 65 or older.
