Calio is a city located in Cavalier County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 24.

Geography Calio is located at 48°37'48" North, 98°56'6" West (48.630100, -98.934967)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 23.1 km² (8.9 mi²). 21.2 km² (8.2 mi²) of it is land and 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 8.30% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 24 people, 9 households, and 6 families residing in the city. The population density is 1.1/km² (2.9/mi²). There are 17 housing units at an average density of 0.8/km² (2.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
