Bruce Schneier

Bruce Schneier, an American cryptographer and computer security expert, is the author of several books on computer security, and founder and CTO of Counterpane Internet Security[?], a computer security company.

He is the (co-)designer of the Blowfish and Twofish block ciphers, and the Yarrow pseudorandom number generator.

He writes a monthly newsletter on computer and other security issues, Crypto-Gram.

Schneier is frequently quoted in the press on computer and other security issues, pointing out the flaws in techniques ranging from biometrics[?] to the post-September 11 airline security measures.
