Broad Street, Birmingham

Broad Street is a major thoroughfare[?] to the immediate West of Birmingham city centre. During the 1990s Broad Street was transformed into a dynamic convention, entertainment and nightlife quarter. This activity grew up around the Birmingham International Convention Centre[?] and Symphony Hall[?] which opened in the early 1990s.

The Broad Street area is home to numerous bars and restaurants, the Brindley Place development and leading cultural institutions such as the Ikon Gallery.
