In
World War II, the
British Free Corps or
Britisches Freikorps was a small unit of the
Waffen-SS consisting of British citizens who had been recruited by the Nazis.
This unit was created mostly for
propaganda purposes, and
its members were rounded up and tried by British courts at the end of the war.
