Bristol Rovers F.C.

Bristol Rovers F.C. is the oldest professional football team in Bristol, England. It was formed in 1883 as The Black Arabs, and only became Bristol Rovers in 1897 after briefly being called Eastville Rovers and Bristol Eastville Rovers.

The team traditonally draws support from North & East Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Its colours are blue & white quartered shirts. Its offical nickname is "The Pirates" and its home ground is The Memorial Stadium, Filton Avenue, Bristol.
