Brisbane Broncos

The Brisbane Broncos is a Rugby League team based in Brisbane, Queensland.

The first privately owned team what is now the National Rugby League competition, they were formed in 1988. They started with an outstanding win against the 1987 premiers Manly by 44-10.

Their first premiership came on September 27, 1992 when they beat the St George Dragons[?] 28-8 in the Grand Final.

In a Grand Final replay the following year, they again beat St. George, this time by 14-6.
