Briarcliff Manor is a village located in Westchester County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 7,696.

Geography Briarcliff Manor is located at 41°8'39" North, 73°50'29" West (41.144033, -73.841340)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 17.3 km² (6.7 mi²). 15.4 km² (5.9 mi²) of it is land and 1.9 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 11.24% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 7,696 people, 2,435 households, and 1,996 families residing in the village. The population density is 501.1/km² (1,298.9/mi²). There are 2,501 housing units at an average density of 162.8/km² (422.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 90.74% White, 1.73% African American, 0.05% Native American, 5.44% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.95% from other races, and 1.05% from two or more races. 3.13% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 2,435 households out of which 44.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.5% are married couples living together, 6.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 18.0% are non-families. 15.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.84 and the average family size is 3.16.

In the village the population is spread out with 26.8% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 24.7% from 25 to 44, 24.8% from 45 to 64, and 14.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 87.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 81.3 males.

The median income for a household in the village is $133,272, and the median income for a family is $157,607. Males have a median income of $100,000 versus $61,208 for females. The per capita income for the village is $58,646. 2.5% of the population and 0.8% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 1.1% are under the age of 18 and 5.0% are 65 or older.
