Brentford is a town located in Spink County, South Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 65.

Geography Brentford is located at 45°9'33" North, 98°19'24" West (45.159216, -98.323267)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 65 people, 28 households, and 18 families residing in the town. The population density is 147.6/km² (393.4/mi²). There are 29 housing units at an average density of 65.9/km² (175.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.46% White, 0.00% African American, 1.54% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 28 households out of which 35.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.1% are married couples living together, 3.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 35.7% are non-families. 25.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.32 and the average family size is 2.83.

In the town the population is spread out with 26.2% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 27.7% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 13.8% who are 65 years of age or older.
