Brent Spiner

Brent Spiner (born February 2, 1949 in Houston, Texas) is best known for his portrayal of the android "Data" on the television and movie series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Spiner had previously done most of his professional work in theater, most notably in the original broadway cast of the Stephen Sondheim musical Sunday in the Park with George. Since his success in Star Trek, he has also acted in film, including a notable minor role in the movie Independence Day. He released an album of music under the guise of his character "Data" called "Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back."

Spiner now lives in Los Angeles, California with his girlfriend, Loree and his son, Jackson.
