Boca Pointe is a town located in Palm Beach County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 3,302.

Geography Boca Pointe is located at 26°20'10" North, 80°9'40" West (26.336145, -80.161108)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.0 km² (1.1 mi²). 3.0 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 3,302 people, 1,824 households, and 1,136 families residing in the town. The population density is 1,108.6/km² (2,867.7/mi²). There are 2,089 housing units at an average density of 701.4/km² (1,814.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.64% White, 0.39% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.61% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.18% from other races, and 0.18% from two or more races. 3.36% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 1,824 households out of which 5.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.8% are married couples living together, 2.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.7% are non-families. 32.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 19.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.81 and the average family size is 2.21.

In the town the population is spread out with 4.6% under the age of 18, 1.5% from 18 to 24, 9.3% from 25 to 44, 31.7% from 45 to 64, and 52.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 66 years. For every 100 females there are 79.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 78.7 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $90,476, and the median income for a family is $104,601. Males have a median income of $81,611 versus $37,143 for females. The per capita income for the town is $66,797. 2.0% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 0.0% are under the age of 18 and 2.2% are 65 or older.
