Bo Hansson

Bo Hansson, born 1946, is a Swedish musician.

He was a member of the duo Hansson & Karlsson which released three albums. They became well-known in Sweden and Europe and even overseas to a point, that Jimi Hendrix performed a four-hour jam session with the two, George Clemons[?] at the drums and George Wadenius[?] at the guitar.

Karlsson became successful as a comedian and TV host and so the duo split. Hansson's first solo work was inspired by his fascination with Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. It was originally called Sagan Om Ringen and was published in 1970 in Sweden and in 1972 in the UK and US. It went gold e.g. in Great Britain and Australia.
