Blondie was a very popular band in the 1970s and early 1980s. Sometimes disco, sometimes punk, sometimes new wave, sometimes rap, Blondie re-invented themselves at every turn. Also exhibiting a good deal of longevity, their better known hits were "Call Me" and "Heart of Glass".

The band was founded in 1974.
